Sundays June 6, 13, & 20, step back in time and celebrate our pioneer heritage with a ‘sneak peek’ of Moreston, our Heritage Village. Enjoy wandering through the village from 1pm-4pm, talking with our knowledgable costumed volunteers about life in those by-gone days. Please note due to the historic nature of the buildings, some are not fully accessible. The site itself , the Blacksmith Shop, the Barn and the main area of the Garage are all accessible. The Village will open daily for the summer season on June 26th.

Multiple Juno Award winner Sarah Harmer brings her intimate brand of heartfelt folk-rock to Meaford Hall. Canada’s Secret Treasure, Harmer is releasing her fifth solo album this coming summer. Trailing a string of singles, she is a strong and earnest voice in the Canadian music scene. Her music moves between very personal. Including an album of pop standards she recorded for her father before her family persuaded her to record it publicly, to the very active, writing and performing to help protect wilderness areas in the Niagara Escarpment. Over 100 classic cars and numerous tractors will be on display on the grounds of the Rocklyn Arena. Live Entertainment, a raffle draw with dozens of prizes and crafts and vendors in the arena add to the fun. An excellent brunch is served from 10 to 1 in the hall at a price of $8/person. A beer garden opens in the afternoon and barbequed food is available all day long. Free admission to drivers of classic vehicles. Admission to the arena and the grounds is $3/person or $10/family.

It must be an omen that someone born on the same birthday as Johnny Cash would someday be performing in the best-ever tribute show to this country legend. Bill Cayley has been performing around North America for more than 40 years as a duo with several bands, including “Legend in Black.” This show wowed Meaford Hall in the past and is back to do the same.
