Choose one of three cycling routes starting
at the Wiarton Airport (10km, 25km and 50km)
depending on your experience and confidence
as a cyclist.
All routes will be monitored by a support
vehicle and riders will cycle on asphalt
roads that have light automobile traffic.
Water stations with bulk water will be
available en-route, along with two portable
washroom stations. Please bring a water
bottle for refills and wear your CSA
approved cycling helmet. Note: CSA approved
cycling helmets are mandatory for youth
under 18 years of age. Proceeds go to the
Regional Recreation Centre. Coffee is being
provided by Wiarton's Tim Hortons. A free
lunch BBQ for registered participants is
being provided by the generous staff of
Caframo, Wiarton. Non-registered
participants are able to pay a nominal fee
for the BBQ too. |

Cops for Cancer Run ~ Shallow Lake

Location: Mama Browns Diner, Shallow Lake

There is a 5km, 10km and 15km event.
Registration is $20 Each runner receives a
T-Shirt, Hat and ticket for a BBQ at the
restaurant. Runners will meet at Mama
Brown's Diner to pre-register at 9:30 am
with the race starting promptly at 10am. The
route will have 3 stops, 5, 10 & 15 km.
The local police departments will provide
official escorts for runners. Once a
participant has been paid their $20 fee a
pledge kit will mailed to them. Deadline for
registration is Wednesday, June 15th. Each
PAID participant will receive a Cops for
Cancer T-shirt and Hat plus a FREE ticket
for a bbq after the race at Mama Brown's
diner. Each participant will be expected to
raise pledges that will support the Cops for
Cancer program and the Canadian Cancer
Society.
